Joshua Hay

Joshua Hay is the Director of Connect Allied Health Hub and Principal Physiotherapist at The Physiotherapy Centre. Since graduating from The University of Queensland in 2006, Josh has pursued his interest in all areas of musculoskeletal physio as well as clinical exercise prescription for chronic disease management. Josh uses a wide range of treatment approaches to achieve the best possible outcome for his patients. This includes joint mobilization, positional release techniques, acupuncture and exercise programs using real-time ultrasound. Josh also provides exercise physiology services, which includes exercise prescription for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Katie Hay

Katie Hay is Director and Practice Manager of Connect Allied Health Hub and The Physiotherapy Centre, overseeing all aspects of business across our two locations. Prior to joining The Physiotherapy Centre, Katie worked as an accountant for 7 years, during which time she developed skills that have helped her contribute significantly to the ongoing growth and expansion of the business.

Lois James

Lois graduated in 1975 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy. She has a wide interest in the Musculoskeletal field and treats chronic jaw, spinal and pelvic pain as well as incontinence. Treatments that are used include mobilization, fascial release, acupuncture and exercise programmes using real time ultrasound. Lois was the previous owner of Warwick Physiotherapy Centre since 1986 and has remained with us since the business transitioned to The Physiotherapy Centre in 2009.
Jo-anne Yates

Jo-anne moved to Warwick to join the Physiotherapy team in 2015, having graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2014.Jo-anne is passionate about musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, as well as having a keen interest in the management of respiratory conditions and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Jo-anne uses a variety of treatment techniques to achieve exceptional results for all her patients. These include: massage, manual therapy, acupuncture, and kinesio tapinig. Jo-anne has also founded our popular pilates classes in Stanthorpe and undertaken additional studies in hand therapy and kinesio taping. A keen athlete herself, Jo-anne is a member of a number of local sporting teams in the Warwick district.
Grace Jacobs

Grace completed her studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2016 and has since moved to Warwick. Grace is an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who enjoys treating clients with her well-rounded knowledge and applies a wide range of techniques to help them achieve their goals. Grace has a particular interest in pediatrics and women’s health. Additionally, Grace enjoys running classes for clients including hydrotherapy and balance class.
Mitch Jacobs

Mitch completed his studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2016 and has since moved to Warwick to embrace some country living. Mitch enjoys working with a wide variety of clients including those with sporting backgrounds, aiding them in returning to sport injury free. Mitch has a keen interest in a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription and patient education.
Chelsea Hetherington

A Warwick local, Chelsea joined The Physiotherapy Centre team in 2017 after a number of years working in Mt Isa. Chelsea is an enthusiastic physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, occupational rehabilitation, Pilates and hydrotherapy. She employs a variety of techniques to achieve excellent results for all her patients, and has a particular interest in the role of Physiotherapy in cancer treatment and rehabilitation.
Virginia Snoswell

Ginny graduated from the University of South Australia in 1987 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Throughout her career she has gained experience across the spectrum of physiotherapy care, including acute and chronic illness management, as well as cardiothoracic rehabilitation. Ginny enjoys working with complex cases, including orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, as well as helping people with sporting injuries return to sport as soon as possible. With a special interest in the management of chronic pain, Ginny is able to help individuals improve their quality of life through a variety of manual therapy techniques and specially designed exercise programs. Ginny loves the variety of work in a rural practice, and the rich community spirit of Warwick.
Georgia Treasure

Georgia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in 2018. Georgia is a passionate physiotherapist who enjoys the varied case load that comes with working in a regional town. She enjoys helping her patients achieve their goals and has a keen interest in both chronic pain management and women's health.
Oliver Cotterill

Oliver completed his studies at James Cook University Townsville in 2018 before making the move to Warwick. Oliver is passionate about helping people of all ages achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. Oliver achieves this by implementing an array of techniques including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and personalised exercise programs. As a fitness fanatic himself, Oliver has a keen interest in the management of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Charlene studied at Central Queensland University and graduated in 2018. She enjoys living in a regional area as it provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients of all ages. Charlene has a keen interest in musculoskeletal, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation and enjoys working with patients to create and achieve meaningful goals.

Chloe completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University in 2017. She has a keen interest in all aspects of Occupational Therapy, and a passion for helping people achieve their potential. Chloe works as part of our Aged Care Services team, as well as providing assessment and interventions for NDIS participants, DVA clients, and individuals under Workcover.

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2018. She enjoys working with a wide variety of clients with a particular interest in neurological conditions including stroke and acquired brain injury. Sarah is passionate about helping people to increase their independence and quality of life.

Michael takes an informed and evidence based approach with his practice to ensure that his treatments are well rounded and functional for each client. His approach to treatment involves a full intake assessment to identify any conditions so that he is better able to treat his clients and focus on their specific and individual needs.Michael focuses on the prevention, rehabilitation and maintenance
of those conditions and injuries as well as the relaxation and education of his clients. He offers home care plans that are individualized to each client to ensure that each of his clients can find relief at home as well as in the clinic. Michael is skilled in Swedish massage, as well as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. He studied in New Zealand at the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine and finished his diploma in Australia 2018 with the Australian College of Massage.

Tanya Strom

Tanya Strom is the Operations Manager of The Physiotherapy Centre and joined the administration team in February 2018. A local face to Warwick, Tanya has worked in adminstrative roles in the banking, legal and education professions. She has a passion for small business and believes in having genuine care and interest in all patients. Tanya is committed to broadening her knowledge in many areas of allied health to support and enhance our practice.

Julie has been part of our reception team since 2011 and is an important part of the face of our practice. She brings to the practice a cheery disposition and quiet effeciency that makes her an invaluable member of our team. The provision of health care has always been a keen interest for Julie who worked as an enrolled nurse for 9 years in her early years of employment.

Bonnie joined our reception team in March 2016. She has over 15 years experience working in a variety of administrative roles, and has a particular passion for working in the health industry. Bonnie is the friendly face of our Warwick practice and exemplifies the core values of our business, which are professionalism, care, communication and respect.

Bridie works as our junior office assistant and is a real asset to the entire team at The Physiotherapy Centre. She has developed a keen interest in the allied health industry, and enjoys the opportunity and experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary practice.
